The new man is certainly going to p1ss off some types with these words.

Obama calls India PM

US President-elect Barack Obama called Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday to express his sympathy for the deaths in the attack by Islamist gunmen on Mumbai, a government spokesperson said.

Amazing that extremists carried out that attack.

Obamasiah is giving the world unifying hope, peace and nirvana. It was meant to bring an end to their justified grievances . I guess to his "audacity of hope" they replied "no we can't".

Looks like he'll have to get down a little lower to grovel :o

Seems that Islam is not only pi$$ed off with the US and the UK as they said. How could we be so wrong?

Well the extremists would have you believe everybody is out to get them. If you look at who they've targeted and killed. Christians, Jews, Buddhists, atheists, Hindus.... hell by far their most victims have been actual Muslims. Yet you still get dimwits claiming they're "grievanced Muslims" understandablly retaliating against Western mainly U.S imperialism :o

What on earth are you talking about alanf85?
Do you actually know anything about Obama cause you ignorance is showing?
Obama has always maintained that Pakistan should have been the target of America's "war on terror", rather than Iraq

In his speech at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, in Washington, Mr Obama criticised the Bush administration's focus on al-Qaeda in Iraq, saying US President George W Bush was "confusing" the mission.

He said Americans were more vulnerable to terrorist attacks than before the 9/11 attacks because of a war in Iraq "that should never have been authorised and should never have been waged".

"The first step must be getting off the wrong battlefield in Iraq, and taking the fight to the terrorists in Afghanistan and Pakistan," he said.
