Must admit, joined Disney plus and so far a good experience, the quality and sound is not bad, I'd normally high seas Obi-Wan but will watch it on Disney rather.

I guess so, but not always,
take Mad max 1 for instance, filmed on a shoestring budget, and only afterwards became a cult classic.

one could argue the same with the original Star wars, back in the 70's,
it was just "some" movie, and in the decades since became a cult classic,

Almost, but inversely not all cash cows are good entertainment. Due to brand recognition and fomo they get away with terrible storytelling

Signed up to catch up on star wars.

Binge watched the mandalorian, boom of boba fett and got through 2 seasons of clone wars.

Even my wife is enjoying the clone wars and getting more of the back story.

Haha when you actually sympathise with the inquisitors you know they f'ed up the story.
Just the first of many, many gripes, but considering her actions and behaviour not having the trademark eyes make no sense, they can't even use the Dooku defense.

Also tastes do differ and some weigh the importance of plot holes, lore, character assassination etc. differently. Some of the scenes do look good though, if that's a consolation?
