Hi Guys

Is anyone else having telkom problems in obs today ? Getting very little throughput, like 64kbps

Telkom reckons there are no problems again.

Anyone ?

This might be related, since Obs is so close. Telkom technicians are fixing a fault at the Salt River Exchange, which seems to also be affecting Woodstock, upper eastern boulevard, etc. Connection Speed has been painfully slow all morning, an the line went dead at about midday. Phoned Telkom now, and they said the fault is at the Salt River exchange and technicians are working on it - as I was speaking to them, the exchange came back online, and all seems to be working at full speed now. Hope it lasts!

My connection in Wynberg has been annoyingly erratic today - 90% ok, but occasionally (and just when I least want it to) it won't load a page...
