Your guidance will be very much appreciated.

Who should supply the move in date? The transferring attorney of the estate agent? I want a date so that I can give enough notice but the transferring attorney is telling me to consult the agent of which I told the agent that I want to move in on registration. Who is supposed to give a date in this case?

Occupation on registration is the norm, and if you deviate then you have to negotiate occupational rental, if it hasnt been dealt with in the agreement of sale already.

Doesn't matter, the OTP is binding, so unless all parties agreed in writing.....

It's a matter of agreement between buyer and seller. If you can't remember what you agreed, check what your contract says.
