There was a old sticky that served a similar purpose...but the owner vanished and it got out of date with no one looking after it. I was asked by a moderator to take over and he created this sticky.

Now, instead of disputing the purpose of my thread and sticky...rather go and speculate about rumoured Blackberries which we might or might not get here.

I don't understand what this thread is for? Most of what you say in the first post can be found out from vc or mtn or any other provider upon purchase of a bb? Please correct me if I am wrong but it is pointless in telling us in which colors these bb's come?

I think I may have pissed my pants a little laughing at that. Nice one - nasty, but nice. Let's hope they have a sense of humour.
 
oc, this may not be the right place to post this, so I do apologise in advance!
I've heard problems with the Torch 9800 BB, but I like a touchscreen lol. Are there many problems with the device that you know of, should I stay away from it?
My upgrade starts from July 9th, so I'm sure there will be new specials, I hate it when there are so many good phones out there and I'm only allowed one!
 
I myself have not had clients that have had problems with it...but I heard there are others complaining. Cant remember now what their issues were. Perhpas creat a thread in the Blackberry section asking for 9800 users for their opinion.

Musiclover08....I haven't had any problems that were the phone's fault. Initially I was having problems with downloading stuff (my two favourite messages were 'download failed' and 'request entity is too large'). I subsequently (and after a large amount of research) found the solutions of them and it was all related to the OS or the service books.

The Torch itself is really cool. I really like it. I endorse it.

LOL! There goes my plan to buy black ones, Tipex them white, and resell them for R50 less than you guys. Project WhiteBerry not going to happen.
