OCZ CPU Coolers

I tried in vain to find one, second hand even..

Went for a Vantec FX 120 @ R450 and found a secondhand Thermalright 775 backplate for it. It's on par with the S1283 and V2..
Also 3x 8mm heat-pipes, basically a clone of those 2..

Yay, just picked up my 775 bracket.. Push-pull here I come!

TBH why would you want to buy this cooler?

IMO Rather get a Cooler Master Hyper Z600 :)

I've done a ton of research on this, it is the top air cooler on the market, better than the CM Hyper z600, the V8 (which I have) and the Thermalright Ultra 120. The Heat pipes make direct contact with the CPU, so heat transfer is better. If they had done that with the V8 and used copper or silver heat pipes then I would be stylin... (they use nickel plated heat pipes - not the best Idea!)

The Vendetta cools with the best of the air coolers, that's why someone would want one. They would also want one if they don't want the massive bulk of a Z600, and if they want an included fan.

If it had been available I would have gotten the CM Hyper 212 Plus with 2x low-ish speed fans. That combo kills just about everything out there..

ja the z600 is bigger than the V8, and the V8 is BIG!
 
Yip, there's no standard testing procedure, and a lot of greased hands!
 
I'll find out from Syntech later today if they have plans for bringing in the OCZ coolers. They seem to just have the RAM right now.
 
What is suspicious is that even on low they have fans outdoing coolers, which they don't even best on high, in many other reviews..
