ODD Tray + SSD Help.

so I didn't even know you get different sizes. thought it was a standard one size fit all.

just tried installing mine and also not fitting. think mine is the 7mm.

I have a issue that I already put the ssd into the tray. and now I am trying to take it out again but it won't slide back.

any ideas to get it out without breaking the tray or worse the ssd?

will probably take it to the shop I got the tray at and hopeful they can help me get it out and then exchange the tray for a bigger size.

Put the SSD in the HDD bay and move the HDD to the optical bay caddy.

Why? The optical drive is usually connected to a slower sata interface which can limit the speed of an ssd.

since the caddy didn't fit I took it back. hoping to get a new one soon. for now I have the ssd in primary slot. and laptoo is flying now.
