Finished it a few minutes ago, again. Best FPS of all time. Amazing how so many games released today simply can't improve on HL 2.

5 years late, but hey, rather later then never right?

Yeah, it's an amazing game. Make sure you play Episodes 1 and 2.

Dude, I finished HL2 on PC and then got Orange Box when it was released for the XBOX. I finished HL2 again and played through Episodes 1 and 2 twice... Admittedly, I only ran through Episode 2 again for "Little Rocket Man", which I was able to "achieve"... ;)
 
Must agree, HL2 was awesome, I still play it every now and then after finishing it back in 2004 when it came out.

Is there going to be episode 3?
 
It was good, but has nothing on COD 4 & 5 or Crysis in my opinion. I think Crysis is one of the best games ever, a even today 2 years later (was released in 2007) it is still fantastic.

I would say that Half Life 1 was probably the best game for its time, HL2 was a very good follow on. Unfortunately it came with Steam - utter shyte!
 
I also played it 5 years ago. Was awesome!

Finished playing through the entire series last week. Half Life, Half Life: Opposing Forces, Half Life: Blue Shift, Half Life 2, Half Life 2: Ep1 and Half Life 2: Ep2. Even played Lost Coast and Portal again.

Insane fun. :D

I would agree with you to some point with COD4(too short) but COD5 and Crysis? Hell no. Crysis did not live up to it's hype. While HL2 was everything I'd hoped it would be.

Keep in mind I'm talking purely from a single player experiance here. Online multi player wise..... COD4 and COD5 are king.
 
You think crysis>HL2 seriously? Well each to their own.

Anyone else looking forward to the Black Mesa mod?
