Where can I get passenger foot pegs for an off-road motorbike? The removable ones. They just slide over the rear arms next to the wheel.

Specifically a Yamaha WR400F.

I'm borrowing the bike from a friend because he can't ride at the moment and lost one of the pegs last weekend. He said it is fine, I should not worry, but that's not my style. I will replace it.

Went biking in the veld and had my fiancee on the back for a while. We went over a few bumpy parts and her foot slipped of the peg. She thought she put her foot back on the peg but actually put it on the rear axle/arm. In the process the peg vibrated off.
I searched about 2 hours for the peg but it could have fallen off anywhere on the 10km stretch of dirt road we were on.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks guys.

I've tried Mean Machine and 2 other shops. They claim there are no such things. Even after I told them I have samples.

Will try that World of Accessories. Otherwise I might take the remaining peg to engineering and ask them to make me two new ones.

Do you have pictures of said peg?

I know you can buy them online if you have no other route.

Okay, I've tried all bike shops near me. Even World of Accessories.

No Luck.

Took a picture of the peg. It might actually by a home made thing. But surely there must be something similar.
@Ponder. Any links to the online shops? I don't mind waiting a while for it. Just want to replace it.

I will obviously not find an exact peg like this if it is home-made.
But will buy a new pair all together.

That is definitely a home made / garage job.

I will try and see if I can find those links.

Edit: The ones I saw attached to the rear subframe and not the swingarm. Attaching to the swingarm is actually a bit stupid seeing/dangerous seeing your feet are going to travel with it and could end up in the chain/sprocket. Will keep looking.

Hehe. I thought so after cleaning it and having a closer look. Worked well, except for the part where it falls off. :)

An improvement would be to put a tension screw or clip on so that it doesn't vibrate off.

You could always just have another one made at a engineering shop and ask them to modify it with a tensioner.

Yeah, that would be my last resort if I can not get a new pair from a shop or online retailer.
Will take the remaining peg to our engineering company and ask them to make me 2 new ones. With slight modifications.

I am actually considering buying the bike from my friend. Had such good times on it.
