Packing and moving with a 2 year old is a nightmare!!!
Oh dear! I'm going to have to go through that process pretty soon... my little guy is 19 months right now, will be around 21 months if we move in Jan as expected.

They only want to help, but yeah they make it rather difficult. Movers coming at 9am. Got a friend to assist us with the unpacking today as it will just be too much with the little one.

Yeah my little boy is incredibly helpful. Which is good, but as you point out, sometimes counterproductive.

Good luck today!

Good luck today guys!

You will be exhausted by the end of today but nothing beats that feeling of waking up in your new place tomorrow morning!

Cancelled the whole deal or just going to evaluate the property?
No clue. Originator received what looks like an automated reply with a status update “Valuation has been cancelled” and that’s it. Will probably find out next week

Anyone seen any Black Friday sales? I know Balwin gave a 10% discount on apartments last year. Any idea they will do the same?

Alright, so after A LOT of back and forth this weekend, I decided to let my offer sit. I'm going to take the risk and simply hope it pans out. I want that place. Badly. So badly that I'll take the risk on it.

So the offer sits. Now I just hope the higher offer guy doesn't get his ****. Or something.

If you guys are buying in pta (or rather using the PTA deeds office (the Tshwane guys have a HUGE backlog in processing clearance certificates), and they are not catching up. Its getting worse and worse

Put in an offer on a house in Lone Hill last week Thursday with a deadline of this week Monday. I've followed up with the agent today and he's unable to contact the seller and the seller still hasn't sent him the signed OTP (despite confirming verbally on Saturday that he's happy with the amount but would have preferred a cash offer).

What should I do?
