:confused:I need install a legal version (don't want MS messages) of Windows 8, however, I have Office 2007 installed. Can I still use this in Windows 8? Phone Incredible Deception and they told me NO. I'm prpared to buy new OS can't afford to go to new Office software. Any ideas?

You should be fine with 2007 on Windows 8.

Just be glad you don't have 2003 :erm:

It may be worth your while to check out the Office 365 versions as well though, you can essentially get a full version of Office but pay for it in a more "budget friendly" manner - subscription service.

E.g. http://office.microsoft.com/en-za/home-premium/

What is your current OS?

Yes, it works, I've done an install of 2008 on a Windows 8 computer, it works well enough. For what its worth, Windows 8 and Office 2013 function together very well. Libre Office also functions well enough too.

We're using Office 2007 on Windows 8 (now 8.1) without any problem.

Had Office 2013 installed on Windows 8.1, uninstalled and back to Office 2007 without any problems.

Guess you not a fan of the clean interface? One accountant complained that the white screen gave her head aches. I wonder if Microsoft is gonna do something about that... or do the ModernUI thing and just say adapt or die.

Had to reload a couple of clients with 2007 as nobody likes 2010 because of the Excel link problems.

You can change the theme to light grey or dark grey
