Hey guys,

I am having trouble with this office 2007!!
We have had this enterprise edition for more than 3 months.

Now here's the thing,
I installed it on a new company laptop a week or so back, it worked fine initially but started giving me errors a few days back when I tried to forward messages.

Now here is the error:

From: System Administrator

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: FW: 'The message subject'

Sent: 'Date' 'time'

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

'[email protected]' on 'date' 'time'

554 <dsl-xxx-xxx-xxx.telkomadsl.co.za[xx.xxx.xxx.xxx]>: Client host rejected: Access denied

This doesn't hajust happen with those f&^%cking irritating spam e-mails, but also when taking a very ligit personal mail and forwarding it to someone.
Only forwarded messages get this, no other get stopped.

I have deleted my mail account from the domain and recreated it, even gave it more disk space!! But nothing...

I have uninstalled Office and reinstalled...nothing!!!

Removed it again and wiped all officy-looking files and clean registry...wait...no nothing!!!

So a sumup again: Can send all e-mail except forwarded ones.
Reinstall doesn't help.
Recreating account from domain does not work.

If you have an awnser...I might even be willing to bluddy pay!!

Please help!

Cheers

Hey dude :p

Jy is ook maar 'n regte mamparra weet jy?

It's your ISP smtp server which is acting up.
Get a pc based smtp server or phone your ISP, easy peasy ;)

1. Do you use a firewall or mail server? If you do speak to your Admin... unless you are the Admin.

2. If you dont find any problems with the mail server or firewall, phone your ISP. it looks like it may be a fault on their side.

3.If you have ADSL, it may even be that your last renewed IP may be blocked, you can try and reboot the router and see if that works...

Okay, that server application doesn't seem to work with my Office 2007 edition. 3G user, do you have a link to a working smtp server program? ;)

I would try out Kerio Mail Server, It has a firewall program that integrates perfectly with it called Kerio Winroute Firewall. Give it a trial run and good luck!

And something free with just as good features? :p ;)
