Office 2007 on UNR

I have a family member with an Aspire One, we loaded UNR for her on the machine. It runs quite decently, and she is happy with the OS, despite having to get used to it.

I know UNR comes with OpenOffice, but she has a specific requirement for Word 2007 and Excel 2007. Does a version of Office 2007 for UNR exist, or am I hoping here for the impossible here?

I doubt it but you could either use wine or crossover.

It's not that expensive. You'll need your own copy of Office though, this product just creates a windows-like platform.

Try WINE, you never know.

I didn't manage with Office 2007 on WINE but it works really well on Crossover. There is a bit of an issue with Powerpoint and specific graphics on Crossover that causes it to crash but other than that it works exceptionally well... and fast.
