Some improvements/new features:
- OpenDocument Format (ODF) support
- Built-in Save As PDF/XPS support.
- Outlook:
Performance improvements that apply to the following general responsiveness areas:
Startup
Removes lengthy operations from initial startup.
Shutdown
Makes Outlook exit predictably despite pending activities.
Folder View and Switch
Improves view rendering and folder switching.
Calendar improvements
Improves underlying data structures and the general reliability of calendar updates.
Data file checks
Greatly reduces the number of scenarios in which you receive the following error message when you start Outlook:
The data file 'file name' was not closed properly. This file is being checked for problems.
 
Hmm...I never managed to get SP1 installed, every time it tried, it failed...maybe this 1 will be better :)
 
I have this file, as well as the SP1 and compatibility pack update for Office 2003 - all of which happen to fit quite nicely onto a CD (collectively they weigh in at 535MB). I can help thems out that's a hurtin' for bandwidth with a CD, PM PO box info please (or, if you're in the Craighall area, pop in for a CD, you'll be given one with a smile (I'll order it!))
