Hi all,

Scenario:

You open more than one Excel document and as you open more than one, you see this at the bottom of your screen... Each file that is open has it's own tab so to speak.

OK awesome.

But now this problem occurs....

As you open more than one Excel document, it doesn't seperate them, but instead dumps everything that's open into one "tab" at the bottom.

So if you have File 1, File 2, File 3 open, all you see is this one tab.

How does one get back that multiple tab functionality as per the first image?

OS: Win 7 64-bit
Office 2016

Please advise.

Thank you

cant remember under windows 7.. but right click task bar... taskbar settings.. one of the options "never combine tabs" or something like that..

Win 7 or 8 - right click on the icons on the task bar and untick Group icons (or Stack icons). Or it is in taskbar settings. But I do remember right click gives you the option. Been such a long time....

Windows 10? Go into settings and change the Combine taskbar buttons to When taskbar is full

Thank you gentlemen.

I'll try your suggestions and get back to you.
