Office 2016 is medialess, so all you get is the key to activate. Loot had the cheapest price I could find a few weeks ago.

Not true.

You have a choice between media or no media.
People often pick depending on their internet data availability.

The most noticable difference is that full retail pack(includes media) may be resold once removed from your equipment where medialess software may not be resold according to the MS Ts and Cs

Thanks for the info guys. There licenses are both for home use, (wife & mom) so not necessarily looking for the most expensive pack.

I opted for Office 365 Sub for home that gave me 5 installs. If you absolutely want 2016, hit up Flashgear last I checked he had some for a decent price.

Flashgear ... towards the end of the thread you'll see the Office 2016 prices. Having 5 laptops at home, I obviously went for the Office 365 Home subscription

You can buy Office 2016 Pro Plus keys on amazon.co.uk for GPB10 or less. I've done it a few times. Sometimes they are less that GBP5
