Office Projector

Hey guys

I need some assistance please - my office projector has gone kaput and needs replacing. I know nothing about projectors and honestly dont know what to look for. We use the projector for reviewing spreadsheets etc in the boardroom and one of the headaches with the previous projector was that its resolution was 800x600 making it painful to view spreadsheets. Ideally looking for something that is higher resolution. Projector is mounted about 2.5m away from the screen.

Can you guys recommend something please that is decent? Ideally dont want to spend more than R6-7k.

A decent 4K projector will set you back at least R15000 or higher. Why not just get the biggest 4K TV that will fit your budget and the resolution is much better for spreadsheets. We've moved away from projectors in our company. Just buying 55", 65" or in some cases 75" Hisense or Samsung tv's.

Thank you for the recommendation. Unfortunately as much as I would love to replace the projector with a TV, the construction of our boardroom does not make it feasible to do so.
