Wil net iets seker maak, jy kan 'n server huur, maar hy word nogsteeds gehost by mweb? As dit so is, saai. :(
 
Hi All. Can anyone give me some details on the cost of and how you'd go about renting a server? (No access to certain websites at work.)
Do you go via MWeb or gameservers themselves?
 
You need to go through Gameservers. Mweb does not respond to emails or queries.

For a ranked server it is $14.99 and for an unranked server it is $0.99 per slot (X24 slots)
 
what is the use for me getting it at the midnight launch. I will anyway not be playing it cause I'm working the next day. At least I'm getting of work at 15:00
 
Anyone know if you'll be able to host private games like you can currently with MW2, or will all multiplayer need to go through hosted servers?
Will you be able to LAN the game without having to be online?

Apperantly LAN play has been confirmed, but you will still have to be online and connected to Steam to play LAN.
 
I don't mind having to be connected to Steam to lan. We ussually have a 15m cable running to my router when we LAN. So everyone have internet. We did this to LAN MW2 as well. The bigger problem is ussually getting some of your cheap LAN buddies to buy the game. :)

My two copies are booked (deposit payed) at look & listen Pavilion. Only they are getting stock on the 9th :( but I have the managers personal cell number and he mine, as soon as they arrive... I'm there !!! I can't f*&^&** wait!!! I watched the full 1 hour commentary / demo done on GameSpot. Oh man this is going to be epic.... No sleep for the next few weeks!
 
must say the wager matches looks good could only download the low res version & it still looks awsome :)

I used Save2PC for the highres (converted it was 6gig :wtf:) but the resolution was top notch. I like the idea of purchasing your perks etc, but my first understanding of how it worked was incorrect. You unlock guns etc as you head up the level ladder, but you still need to purchase them. So alltho they are available, you do not just get them when unlocked! So many cool types of games, I like the one where u auto change weapons every so often, and also the one where u go up a weapon as you make a kill. But I am very weary about gambling CP away!!!

We got the movie from youtube. Don't think it is an HD one, but the quality was still good. 1.2Gb file.
 
That's whats going to make it interesting but at least if you loose all your CP you can still gain some from playing 10% of total earned XP is converted to CP.
Actually a very cool twist to the whole game making you even more eager to get it :)
