There are still guys who are apparently unable to read but once you have a word with them they seem to change their kit quite quickly. Only had to kick one or two guys since. If you have just prestiged and you use the default assault class we let it go, but after that the same rule goes for everyone...

So far the RoS server seems quite popular - would like to keep it that way...
 
Nice rule Slaughter... I had huge fights with Yvi on that one (I Tried it on my server too).... A bit difficult to implement when the wife loves the stupid perk :( I was threatened with many unsavory things if I was to continue enforcing the no last chance rule :cry::cry: Eish ...

I think the next thing that we should try and minimize is tubing although I think that might be taking it a bit too far. I have a class with a tube on specifically for when I get tubed then everyone in the enemy team gets it! ;)

I generally don't play with a tube anymore because I noticed that as soon as you spawn you switch to tube so even if the guy is standing in plain view where you could easily clip him you try and tube him - given 10 times out of 10 you get him, 8 times out of 10 he get you before the tube reaches him....
 
Just started this on PC. Loving the story so far, and loving the slow mo parts when breaking through windows and stuff :D Makes me happy

If I'm in the mood for some good TDM then I go to ROS, Y!A for DEM and SnD and TF for nuketown(no TK's).

Welcome to the game, but you won't be so happy anymore once you start with the MP. :)

Come to think of it I should play the campaign again, can't remember half of what happened.
 
anyone else having problems with steam lately? my connection seems to have a mind of it's own disconnecting me once every 3 games, for various reasons, 384k Cybersmart
 
Not your line NomNom - it is the game. I have the same issues on a 4mb with Afrihost. It DC's me (Steam) every now and then but when I restart it is fine. Steam shows offline - but I can browse sites...
 
Agree with Slaughter... I was playing this weekend and the steam connection went off completely, but the game kept going ... sucked tho, go 0 XP for the games.

Ok .. so I have had it with last chance and have officially banned it from the DoG server ... Following on ROS :) Jeez but I get tired of kicking people!!! but they seem to have caught on. I love the fact so many guys hate last chance!

Agreed. So many it is only the noobs that play with it anyway. The guys who can actually avoid getting shot don't use it at all... ;)

Get that ban hammer in the air because you going to get guys who want to argue the whole map through about the validity "because it is part of the game"...
