I bought black-ops yesterday.

Lol yeah... good time to get into it though with MOD tools being released soon and 3 bugs. Its also still has the largest player base in SA as far as I can tell.

....and you can practice and get used to the maps before you go multi, so late comers dont have to get owned, i practice with the enemy on Veteran, so when you play online its alot easier.
 
Well that was the plan.

I watched this thread in December, and saw that all of you were tearing your hear out to get it working. I probably left it TOO late, but at least I can have a bit of fun on a game that works. I had no issues in about 3 hours of gameplay, besides one minute or so where i completely lagged out, with a connection interrupted icon up.

But it looks like fun, I came from BC2, so this is quite different, but fun in its own fast paced kind of way.

Same here... Then went back to BC2 and got so frustrated with the slow running and not being able to strafe and run at the same time.

I would call the "getting-kills-but-not-showing-on-the-scoreboard" a big bug and also, the sniper is all fooked again. Still not playable on a dual core pc. :(

Didn't know about those... updated my post... What's wrong with the sniper?
 
I have a pretty high end pc, not worried about dual core silliness :)
 
Ooh, i played the S&D on the RoS server last night, or it could have been Nuketown, anyway, it was fun.
 
Dang i gotta get myself a pair of cheapish okish headphones with mic, was asked to join a clan but its a requirement obviously.
