Official Black Ops Discussion Thread

Escalation DLC, this game will unlock in 8Hours.....7pm, hopefully it will download overnight, i doubt it with it being a BLACK OPS FREE WEEKEND where you can preload the game to be ready to play but cant pre load the DLC, sigh.

What, a blops free weekend. :eek: time for a new account and then I can finally start from fresh, rank and prestige wise... :D
 
these maps cant unlock soon enough, it seems the only games available are Nuketown Demo, and SnD games, what is with SA servers and Nuketown its a splutterfest of grenades, the worst spawning and map design and rates at the bottom on skill required.
 
eish .... I'd have to say steam = overload! Update is crawling, even on Afrihost!

EDIT.... Restarted steam ... flying now
 
230mb done, @150kbs tops, 40 mins to go steam time which could be a couple hours
 
new maps are great, i could not believe that there were skilless noobs spawn raping already, im going to start a site dedicated to the spwan raping p$%%ies that ruin the game.
 
I for one am still thinking about getting the map pack. I played the first one a bit, but I am getting gatvol of having to pay for a game that still barely works properly... I don't want to be kicked every time a new map comes on though
 
Why does everyone only play HC now? Do people enjoy camping in dark corners with silenced weapons?
 
This weekend is free black ops multiplayer weekend on steam.
