so, I see Blops is getting a 3rd map pack, Annihilation :wtf:
So, the map packs sofar almost cost as much as the game :sick:

yep what utter BS, three map packs, at $15 plus $49.99 for the game, almost $100 to play the complete game, at the end of the day it doesnt matter what new maps new weapons new fail perks they introduce, you will still have the same nobs spawn raping from day 1, i blame the developers and the " no enemy please noobs" for the downfall of COD
BF3 better be good or its gonna be driving and Indie games in 2012 for me.

Come on. How can we keep on paying for these maps. What will the mods maps cost us then. I cant belive that we have to pay all there money for this BO and the new MW3 is also coming out. SO we will end up paying for new maps also. Then they should make the Game cheaper and when they sell the maps, they will make profit on the game asswell.

Good for you. I see there is a SSS hardcore server that only plays the original maps. And it is really hard to get a slot on there. Almost always busy.
 
im plodding along to complete a personel achievement of prestige 15 and seing how well i can rank in Demolition on the leaderboard...1083 at the mo, unless they allow mods and people to make maps this will be uninstalled when BF3 is released, its a pity that these games die when a new version is released, most of them completely.

we need more original map servers ! glad to see its always full ! now i should get that update sorted out now sigh . dont have any map packs installed as im not going to pay roughly R900 for a full game. NEVER. i dont own a ps3 :p

DzG are hosting the new maps on their server, some times... First time I played them. :D

I can't understand why people wouldn't just spend the R93 and get the new maps. They are way better than DLC1. There's 5 more months before the new COD is out and I am totally bored with the original maps...
 
well, if you only play blops, and I see there is a lot of people with 1000 + hours. Then is makes a bit of sense to purchase.

On the other hand, I've got like 150 hours, so I'm not even gonna bother with pack 2 or 3. And since there is a few servers with only old maps, I'll rather play that
 
i am very bored of the maps, even dlc 1 maps are starting to bore a bit, so many snow maps, and there's another snow map in the 3rd DLC, sadly as much as i think its BS il buy the next map pack as i mostly play Blops

Play SnD, you will never get bored of the maps.
 
Thats the one game style i play the least, get rush naded and watch other players play for the rest of the game, not very good with Patience, in fact i have 'Pa' or 'nce'
Starting to enjoy TDM a bit more, demolition is spawn rape city so is CTF as both have set spawning areas, id like to play more headquarters as its always changing, gets a bit chaotic sometimes, but far better than spawnrapeville.(lol the spelling suggestions for 'spawnrapeville' were Chancellorsville, grapevine and vaudeville?)

Does become a bit of a spectator sport sometimes... find a noob friendly server and hang out there, GFG SND rules,Vega HC SnD or Y!A SnD server are all pretty relaxed.
 
I see that there is an xbox hardened edition with the world at warmap pack for black ops, if they decided to make the maps from previous CODs for pc , remastered versions then Black Ops would be worth while keeping

As they did with MW2. I tried to play some MW2 the past weekend and saw all those maps again... Good times.

not sure why but im getting the feeling that the game is dying, less people playing these days, not a great choice of maps on the servers, mostly ngl and kooktown
