Nice - yeah, most of the people are not stuck up and dont have airs and graces about themselves, and we do such a great job! HIGH 5 HBS![]()
Any broadcast signal problems yet?
I think the big cheese from SA's point of view is Telkom, not so HBS guys?
its actualy so boring at work, nothing to do, all we doing is watching the games!
That's what my buddies in the PE centre are also saying!
Still no comment on the silly slow-mos?

Oh please stop with all this insinuating that everything South African sucks and is crap and it is only international companies making this world cup the success it is....
All cabling has been provided by local technicians (well I can only speak for Durban here), transmission is happening via South African infrastructure (Telkom), back up transmission is via South African infrastructure (Sentech), all IT infrastructure is put in place by local technicians (yeah I am sure the internationals have had their say but it is not all them). All power supplies done by local technicians.
Even the photographers just pitch up and plug into cables provided by Telkom. HBS are probably finding it boring as it is all the locals running around ensuring all minor snags are sorted ASAP.
