He had some fist fight with Abramovich. Apparently Wilkins wanted to still challenge the league whereas Abramovich was more concerned about the CL.
Now they won't will either.

It's a lone fan sitting outside the training ground apparently. It seems he longs for the days of Cup glory every few years, and fringing on the Top 4.
 
Huge debate about it on Twitter. A few people seem to be of the opinion that he was paid by a paper to stir up some ****. I wouldn't know though... these poms are weird, whiever way you look at it.

Anyone read about Carlo's reaction? I LOLed
 
Mikel is out longer term. Drogba, Cole and Essien are undergoing fitness tests for slight knocks picked up in training. Standard suspects are Benayoun, Zhirkov and Alex all out as well. Carlo wants to "freshen up" the side. Interesting times ahead...
 
Anyhoo, time for a bit of light-hearted info to lift all the doom and gloom from the thread.

When playing against Wolves, the home supporters were singing that usual nugget that has been popular since roman came along.

"Where were you when Chelsea was sh#t?"

Some of the fans replied... "We're right here!"
