I would have saved that penalty. Well played Fulham.

who too support as an LFC supporter

I'm kind of in the same situation...lol

City doesn't look like they'll make top 4 with Tottenham and Chelsea favourites. Tottenham has a better chance than Chelsea for 3rd.
So although I would hate to see UTD take the 19th title (which us pool supporters won't hear the end of) I'd much rather have us playing champions league next season, than see utd not get number 19.

Therefore, for me, I will support whoever plays Chelsea or Man City, because if these two teams go on a bad run, the chances of pool squeezing into 4th increases.

Liverpool should'nt be worrying about other teams, and should try and maximize points earned till season end. LFC has no control on the performance of other teams.

Yes but every dropped point means the remaining games become more and more crucial,
Spurs will definitely drop points too
Yet I would of thought that winning the league was crucial as well - so lets wait and see:)
Spurs v Arsenal also coming up

I don't think lfc can make 4th. So the question is would you prefer Arsenal to win the title or Chelsea not make the CL?

erm I don't get it...

There's 20 teams in the EPL if all teams have to play 38 matches, there's still 12 games to go 12 games @ 3pts per game = 36 points HTH is Chelski, City, Arsenal, Tottenham out of the title race???

Man Utd 26 16 9 1 32 57
Arsenal 26 16 5 5 29 53
Man City 27 14 7 6 19 49
Tottenham 26 13 8 5 9 47
Chelsea 26 13 6 7 24 45
Liverpool 27 11 6 10 3 39

It's possible.

Ferguson targets 83 points to win the League this year, meaning theoretically we need 26 points from a possible 36, which is a 10 point leeway for us to drop points. We still have to play Chelsea twice, Liverpool, Arsenal and Blackpool (yes I know they aren't top contenders, but we all know what they're capable of). Not to mention we still have Champions League and FA Cup commitments, so fatigue is an issue.

The first week of March will be very important for us.

Well if United win all those matches I highlighed, then draw the rest we still reach the 83 points SAF was targeting... but Chelsea and Arsenal both have easier rides to the finish line:

But if you guys notice nowadays its not about winning the big guns, its about winning the smaller teams. Most of the times its the smaller teams that cause the upset. Look Wolves beating Liverpool and Utd. Not too sure what they did against Arsenal, City and Chelsea
