Steam are going to lose lot of customers because of this, convieniently there website is down for the late release, not the first time they have done this either, only this time they closed down their website before people complained, steam is what stopped this from being a global launch, rest of the world are playing it but steam users must wait 17 hours longer? yet another **** up by steam.

I have not been paying attention to this thread but is this for real? really puts me off buying the game
 
maybe wait for syndicate or get crysis2, i wouldnt get it if youre put off, especially if you re loving bf3
 
I am so glad that I didn't pre-order on Steam...

I will be picking mine up after work today - I am willing to wait the extra bit, while all the issues (again) by the sounds of it are sorted out.
 
The much awaited day has arrived :D

I was going to take the day off from work. Lucky I didn't..

There shouldn't be a difference if you pre-ordered on Steam or buying it on disk. Both work on Steam and should only be available at the same time.

I am so p'd off at the moment because of this nonsence...Every time they find a way to just nail you further up the rear...
 
It's sad AcidT. Sounds like at least it's not as massive a fail as last year...

Oh well.
 
i think you will be able to play the sp with a in shop copy?
