Official Galaxy Note 10.1 (N8000) Thread

I got my N8000 yesterday and must really say that it is a huge improvement from my previous Galaxy Tab (7").

The first thing I did when I unboxed it was to flash it with the official Jelly Bean 4.1.2 ROM. And then I rooted it to customize it the way I like it.

If you have a N8000 then this case is a must. I rather pay R900 to protect it than to pay the insurance R600 to get it fixed.

Please let me know what accesories you use with your N8000 or any nice apps.

I have one and its brilliant. Ordered through FNB end of Last year already. I'm just waiting on the Jelly Bean 4.1.2 update to hit South Africa. The LTE update has already been released to South Africa. Why its only the newest phones and tablets to get things first I don't know.

I'm in the market for a new tablet, currently on iPad 2 and been fiddling with the A500 I won on myBB but it's screen sucks compared to my iPad so looking at selling both.
The Note 10.1 puts me off in it's screen resolution compared to iPad 3rd and 4th generation.
After reading many reviews on Note most of them mentioned lag?
Really interested in the Nexus 10 which has a brilliant screen.

Jus a FYI....Picked up a leather look case from china mall for R150. Also checked that hdcabling has a cover for the galaxy note 10.1. Any idea when jelly bean is officially coming to the galaxy note 10.1???

It's is very difficult to find cases! We've been everywhere (well, obviously not...) but can't find cases for the N8000!

I see expansys has got a few coloured ones, but my SO is looking for something with patterns on:wtf:

Any ideas where I can find one for her?

Hey Guys,

In case you haven't read my post regarding issues with my Note 10.1, please have a look and let me know if you've had any similar issues? I'm probably going to end up having to take it in and losing everything on it when they reload the software, but I'm trying to avoid this.

Would appreciate any feedback. Other than this issue, I love this thing.
