Ah man that sucks, this might sound odd, but try McDonald's, they Have free wifi with decent speed..

I couldn't wait and downloaded the update via mobile data, and went ahead with the update . Sense is fantastic to use.

tip: Do a 2 finger swipe from the top of the notification area to go straight to the power controls.

Busy downloading the update as I type. So so happy! Now I can install Dashclock Widget.

Don't get too excited. I just tried it, but you end up with two clocks, because the clock cannot be removed from either Dashclock or Sense . Anybody got an idea how to remove the Sense clock from the lockscreen?

Yep, you're right. Hopefully there's a solution in the Personalise section. :-( Damn. Mondo disappointed, but happy all the same for the upgrade to 4.2.2.

I've always elected to leave my phones on the stock ROM. Personal preference, I guess.

I think the problem with WidgetLocker, is that after you unlock using WidgetLocker, it goes to the Sense lockscreen. So, you actually unlock your phone twice. Obviously depends on what security measure you are using for your lockscreen.

I would agree that it is a Sense issue, as you do not find this on Samsung's Touchwiz lockscreen, when using Dashclock.

I'll say this again. It's the only Android phone that I have used (including the S4) which does not have to be rooted. The update has made it even better.

So ya, I gave in yesterday and went to go pick up my device my Vodacom Pavilion.

Wow, what a device! Seriously impressed! The screen is so pwwwetty! Now just got to look after it till I am in the EU and England next month to pick up a cover for it.

Any app suggestions you guys can make?

He said" we know it took some time but we got a straight answer and date this time" OKy? " it will arrive in the following 2 weeks"

i said you said that the last time,"yes sir and we apologize,but take my word it will be here very soon ' the guy actually sounded excited himself ..i asked about pricing again he said" it's not loaded on the system sir so we cant say,but maybe it could be around the R399pm mark ,who knows" so i think he's hinting at the price it will launch with..

limited stock?he said it was limited but they got more to arrive soon for new customers as well*

so these are my last 2-3 weeks for MTN or else i'm of to VC
