Official HTC One thread

Good advise I mean i have waited this long , man Vodacoms packages are crap , how do people even take them , the rates are high
 
Yeah but like djbrenden said, they get the devices first so people either port or stay with them because of it.
Now if Cell C could get devices first..... It would surely change their business

or even MTN,i mean they have better packages now..anytime200 gives you R200 airtime,200mb,200sms(not that we use them that much) and 30min mtn to mtn minutes ... that to me sounds a lot better than vodacoms package for the same price as their smart s..

and yeah vodacom usually get the devices we all want 1st...that's we they have this massive network and clientele and just growing every day sad :/
 
Whooo!! Good/bad news

i got through to several MTN staff yesterday and today confirming " we will be offering the HTC one(not the one X) by the end of the month"

So i said "damn im due for an upgrade now ,wish you had stock" she replied "would you like if i phone you with the pricing on the contract and when our stock comes in in the following 2weeks" YES!!!! PLEASE!!!

So asked her again..So what your telling me is that you will have stock in the next 2weeks and i can upgrade ?and not until the end of the month.. "yes sir that is correct"

:D so placed my order!! ..

The kinda bad news is.."we will only be receiving limited stock of this phone" so seems they'll be getting a hand full of these and await for the rest of the stock :/

Glad i could place my order ...these are going to be a few long weeks

No store,Phoned MTNSP ..

she said it will be stocking the silver..Contract,that's why she said she'll place my order and as stock arrives she'll phone me with pricing and PM pricing..

NOTE;i did ask what will the contract price be pm? she said she can't confirm pricing on that but should be very similar to the S4's contract price
 
Confirmed

Just called MTNSP

They have confirmed that the stock will be available middle to late June. They also said that they are able to pre-order and deliver when stock is available.

This is very good news.

Cell C sales people still seem to be very confused about this thing called HTC... Gave local store a call today. It seems their stock of phones in general arrives on a Thursday. So the lady will be giving me a call and letting me know if she finds anything.
 
Store staff are such a fail. Those people never know anything about what they're selling. But here's holding thumbs for Thursday :D

HOW..... i've been all over Nashua like a cheap suit for the last 3 weeks and they still maintain they have no idea on ETA for the ONE. Is it black or silver?
 
I know, they told me the same even AFTER he got the phone from them.

Are you guys after black or silver? I see a lot of people asking that. Personally I don't care, I like my black one but a silver one would have been great too.
 
It's not a train smash, but I'd prefer black.
Where did you get a black One from?
