Did you charge the phone when you got it??
Or was it pre-charged.

Both of mine did not want to switch on, it needed to be charged.
I'll chip in on the pro's and cons this evening.
Thanks. I am actually liking Blinkfeed and its functionality. It filters your blinkfeeds home screen view to apps that you have selected to send you feeds like facebook, calender, twitter, flickr etc.
If you go to "topics and services" menu of the blinks feeds then swipe left-right, you can select which apps to give you feeds. See attachments:

howsit guys
anyone got the 4.2.2 update yet in south africa?
How are you guys with the phone managing with the limited storage space?
Is it 32GB for apps and media storage combined or is there a separate storage area for apps?
I guess I'm spoilt with having an external SD but I can be more particular about what music/media I upload to the phone.
I thought 32 GB was not gonna cut it, but no problems so far. I only had a 32GB SD card, with the built-in 16GB, on my S2 and even there I had some 12GB free with a lot of useless apps which I never really used![]()
I think I'm going to root my phone to get 4.2.2 with sense
I'm missing the quick settings toggles.
Has anyone done it here?
I'm thinking of doing it but for the smoother UI (not that the phone needs it). Install 'Power Toggles' from the Play store for quick toggles.
Honestly I don't think I'll root this phone. At least not for a year or so. I'll root my old HTC Desire but that's it. No chance. There's nothing wrong with my phone. Rooting this doesn't make sense to me right now.
Even with the new upgrade, I'll wait for reviews before I do. I guess it's just me, but unless there are some camera updates I don't need to fix something that's not broken.
The current Changelog for the 4.2.2 update is:
- - Android 4.2.2
- - Improved BlinkFeed
- - Stock HTC %battery
- - Stock HTC EQS
- - Long press home button works as menu
- - Possibility to remove all icons from the dock
- - Icons doesn't disappear from the app drawer even if added to the dock
- - Audio improvements
- - Camera improvement
- - Thermal configuration improvements
Can you now close all open apps with one button?
