sigh i know the wait gets a bit harsh but hang in there ... its worth it ... best phone ever! btw

theres your prob that place is filled with a bunch of 1di0ts! should have used the waterfront branch
a mil times better, would have gotten your phone in like 3/4 days like the rest of us! best you can do
now is just try and call them everyday will your phone comes.

I have made a grave mistake..
She said Monday,so ill wait till tuesday latest,else ill go to waterfront

Mine arrived within 2days,but fell short on a public holiday the following day so had to wait 4 days ..

Like Deep said,they may be a bunch of idiots .. :)
 
Hi anyone tried importing an htc one from the usa on sprint or any other network? can anyone give advice like if the lte or 3g will work and so forth?

i don't think it's such a smart idea to buy from the US or EU,it's $600 to start with..R6000

Then shipping,import tax,and few more charges ..ends up on a high amount.

If you are looking to buy on brand new but at a lower cost than Voda and MTN (R10k)

Then here :) ,they import it themselves from EU,Orange is a massive SP in France

i wouldnt be surprised if Voda and MTn bought their devices from Orange SA when they are in short supply
 
How did you guys manage to get the TV tuner working (if you have). SA is not one of the country dropdowns? I take it this is for TV guide listings, which would have been awesome if SA was supported? I dont really want to choose a fake country if possible.

One you get past all those TV listing options, you'll get to the actual remote.
I just kept clicking next... till i got to the remote and it worked fine with Samsung TV.
It has a crazy list of TVs to chose from.

I have this case. its awesome...

I still take it out of the case every now and again when I want to show off in meetings lol.

Still trying to get replacement headphones but no luck.

If anyone wants to sell their HTC One headphones lemme know....
