Nothing bad to report too. Good to know nobody has had any strange software issues creeping up from normal use.

Definitely HTC One FTW Brendan.
 
i must say this is one of the smoothest transitions i've ever had moving from my old DHD.
As for the ONE well it is the only ONE worth having, no issues thus far just wish battery
would last longer :} but will see as soon as bguru kicks in.
 
MTN Vaal Mall still giving me the run-around that there is no stock of The One. MTN Direct spinning the same story.
Gave the guy a mouthful and he's checking with the warehouse - not hoping for much though.
Not sure what to do now. I need the One! My S2 pretty much gave up the ghost last night and I'm back on my old Desire :cry:
 
Just a quick question to all you guys and gals. I've noticed after the 4.2.2 update that when I try to switch NFC on, nothing happens. Nothing appears in the notifications area. I tried restarting, with no luck. Any of you having same problems.

I could definitely do it before the update.

When I switch it on, nothing appears in my notification area as well... but it does still work. I tried it with my brothers S3. Trick is to know where the NFC sensors are on both phones.

lol,started worrying as well

nearly shed a tear earlier ,dropped my phone for the 1st time :( luckily one small scratch on the corner is all i could find..

same thing happened to me i freaked! only a small scratch on the one side but still i feel that scratch
everytime! and these darn carriers are taking so long, cant wait for them to deliver my case and i got
a doc as well :}

Ouch. Sorry dude. You don't have a case yet?

I remember waiting for my mine to be delivered. I made a VERY conscious effort not to drop the phone until it arrived a few days later.
 
I haven't got the phone yet, but I've already ordered tow covers from eBay. hopefully I'll have them by the time I get the phone.

Yeah saw that under an hour ago , Did you know that we might be seeing Android 4.3 by the end of September :)

Cant wait for 4.3,improved battery life,new look and feel..better performance ,openGL support .. :D
