I never said it is at all useful. But like we have pointed out there might just not be 6000 all rounders to choose from in Pakistan atm....
His bowling is ok and his batting is better than average. Ps he is the only other player barring Kallis and Sanath Jayasuriya in ODI cricket to reach 5000 runs and 200 wickets so he is really also not as crap as you make him out to be

He is not crap but he needs to get his batting going because i am not sure what happened to him, maybe he is concentrating more on his bowling now and not his batting.

Still think their tournament seedings and fixtures are a bit unfair to the teams that do well (each team is pre-seeded according to their performance in the last T20 WC, even if you finish top of your round 1 group your super 8 group will not change. So we have SA, India, England and possibly Australia in one Super8 group.)

Lol, yeah I knew that the aussies would fail against either the windies or the Sri lankans
Now I am hoping they fail against both!

Yeah, one bad result will affect the next tournament, and it's the same this time. (ie, if Aus don't quailify they will be in a tough group next time around.)

I can't really see a way for England not to go through. If the Dutch win, they go through with England. If Pakistan win, then Pakistan and England will go through on run rates (don't forget, the Dutch NRR is only +0.05, as long as Pakistan win by more than one run, the Dutch will slip to the bottom). No result in the Pak - Ned game would see Eng and the Netherlands go through.
And the results of this initial round do not, AFAIK, carry through to the next stage.

I remember Aus lost to Zim.
We only lost one match, that was to India just before the semifinals. I can't remember why we were eliminated.

I remember a slow run chase of a small total that we could easily have reached.
