Duminy and Boucher combined - 21 off 30 balls! Whatever the pitch conditions, 4 runs per over is a poor effort in T20. Biff went at run a ball and AB went at better than run a ball. I don't understand why they insist on sending Boucher ahead of Albie when there's 5 overs to go!!

Hard to say until India bat. But I'm disappointed with the way our batting order is being handled.

Well firstly albie has no clue what he is doing against spin so sending boucher up the order seemed logical to me.

I think ab made his runs upfront because there was a passage of play where they went 50 odd deliveries without a boundry so even ab struggled to score freely i thought.

tough pitch, spin every over i think it is a good total considering we are not the best against spin.

Hopefully there will be nice and fresh pitches for the semis. Pity we only have 8 overs of good spin and a few so-so spinners in the team. :(
 
Well there you have it, we bat decent against spin and win the game using spinners, never seen us do that before :p

I got a bit worried when smith opted for pace instead of another dumini over but yea we got there w00t w00t. Dhoni and yuvraj don't look to be getting on well at all.

The ball before the turbinator got caught was an easy single but dhoni sent yuhraj back and then the turbinator went out :p hmmm interesting.
 
W00t w00t. So much for SA being a one dimensional cricket team! IIRC we're the only team in the tournament to have gotten over the 200 run mark...heck, very few have even got to the 180 mark...plus we've won games having set VERY low scores.

Ahh, bring the Pakistani's on! :D
 
Yea, good point, some sour grapes in that team...

But lets hope the best team wins the Pro20... us or sri lanka... Hopefully they loose in the semis, PAKISTAN HERE WE COME!!!
 
Yea well i am not getting too excited, that is more than likely why we fail, we must not go in thinking the paki's are a push over and get bowled out for 88 or something stupid.

I hope it's a sri lanka SA final, if we win we are the best if they win they are better, none of this meet a kuk team in the final, that is no way to win a world cup.
 
There was some talk of dropping parnell from you as well if i recall, now steyn has a bit of bad game and here you are again punting abdullah for steyn and not parnell, what is about abdullah that makes you think we should drop the deadly steyn or parnell?

You cannot just drop players because they have one bad game.

Deathbowling, and besides I am a perfectionist, each time I see bowlers going for double figures I go mad...!
 
Am i mistaken in thinking steyn's last over he bowled went for 5 runs and 2 wickets one being the only chance india had left?

That is death bowling on note!!!

yeah although I couldnt see the yuvraj wicket, the damm angle either had Steyns ass in front of me or the side of the ball cliped off. He was lucky to get that wicket!
 
Not really, the question was did the ball bounce before the bat, clearly even with the one angle being cut off you could see it bounced before and thus OUT.

Not lucky good bowling. That wicket won the match and that is why steyn is in our team.
