Official June 2016 Tests Thread

Begining of the end, I hope I'm wrong but that was one terrible game plan on our side.

I must say though, the Irish played intelligent rugby, they had a plan and managed to go through with their plan with only 14 men in playing. Their backline was creative, their scrummie know exactly what to do with a ball under any given circumstance. They simply dominated us.

Lambie was our big loss in this match.

Kriel is a better player in green and gold than Mapoe. De Allende should... well... go play rugby in Spain. Malherbe, last big game was in the 2015 RWC, likewise with Vermeulen. Mvovo do not move the ball. Louw, he was there, then he was not there. Whiteley did not make any impact to the play, will like to see him start though… Kolisi being Schalk. Where’s Willie? I do not want to elaborate on our scrummies, though I believe that Paige made more with his time on the pitch.

RG Snyman should replace Lood. Du Toit is still our best utility, even our best centre as things was going tonight. Generally, I had seen little wrong with our 5 pack.

Damn, Coetzee, better wake these guys up.

This was an embarrassing loss. No excuses will explain losing as we did, at home and to 14 (and for a time 13) men. Embarrassing!

Shades of the Japan game.

In the Japan game the team deviated, they had a plan and decided while in play to commit to Jakeball. That against a ‘unknown’ team which was coached by a guy who knows exactly what to expect.

Kolisi and Lood has a similar issue with controlling the ball when going to the ground, they want to keep the ball in the air than securing it to be rucked onside, and though Lood is a big guy he is not that strong in his arms which opens him up to be ripped again and again. Something which should be addressed.

Once the opposition reads into your team, and the individual players, mistakes it is game over.

As I had previously said, this is not yet the time to blame Coetzee as he had little time with many players playing a unique game type at their respective unions/clubs.

What a weekend of sport, English Saxons last night, England thumping Aus today, and 13 Irishman vs 16 staffers today, oh and England cricket not doing to bad against Sri Lanka in the cricket, I'm chuffed that's for sure.

Not sure what's funnier, the score board or arse Botha/ nick mullet faces.

I heard that the game between Fiji and Tonga was a clash of the titans, Fiji pulled through. Samoa has drawn with Georgia! To take note, the majority of these islanders are contractually bound to clubs in Europe locking them out of the internationals.
