Official June 2016 Tests Thread

So Johan part of the SA A coaching team... Nice.

Wonder if he will be head coach?

Also when was the last time an SA A team played? We don't seem to use it like the All Blacks do with the Moari All Blacks.

1 and 2 are the weak points there but that's pretty much the run-on fifteen I'd go with... Right until Elton's fit again.

9 stormers? AC biased much?

And the 3 International/Stormers =12

Per position:

Fullback (1):
- Wille le Roux – Only 1 fullback? Combrinck can possible cover here in need.

Wings (3):
- Ruan Combrinck, - Yes, very deserving.
- Lwazi Mvovo – No.
- JP Pietersen – No. His time is over, I’m sure that are someone else who deserves a position here.

Centres (4):
- Damian de Allende – OK, but not as a starter.
- Jesse Kriel – No. Would have gone with Ruan Janse van Rensburg rather.
- Jan Serfontein – No. Hell No. Last night he was nowhere on the park, the Lions trampled all over him.
- Lionel Mapoe – Yes, very deserving.

Flyhalves (3):
- Elton Jantjies – Yes, but will probably only play the 3rd game.
- Garth April – I honestly don’t have a decent replacement for him, we have a problem at the moment in this country imo.
- Patrick Lambie – Yes.

Scrumhalves (3):
- Nic Groom – No. I would even have gone with Ross Cronje above Nic.
- Rudy Paige – No. He is not even the starting scrumhalf for his franchise (obvious political pick imo)
- Faf de Klerk - Yes

Loose forwards (6):
- Francois Louw – No. Stamp kar player.
- Duane Vermeulen – Yes.
- Siya Kolisi – Yes.
- Sikhumbuzo Notshe – No.
- Jaco Kriel – Yes.
- Warren Whiteley – Yes.

Locks (3):
- Lood de Jager - Yes
- Pieter-Steph du Toit - Yes
- Eben Etzebeth - Yes

Hookers (3):
- Bongi Mbonambi – No!
- Scarra Ntubeni - No
- Adriaan Strauss – OK.

Props (5):
- Steven Kitshoff - Yes
- Frans Malherbe - No
- Trevor Nyakane - No
- Julian Redelinghuys - Yes
- Tendai Mtawarira – No!

Those who I think they missed:
- Malcolm Marx
- Even Akker compared to 3 hookers selected.
- On that point, the Lions scrum who have dominated most teams, and they pick 1 prop? ONE??

Honorable mention:
- Edgar Marutlulle – If they wanted to pick a player of colour at hooker, I would’ve picked this guy, he has really impressed me.

Political Picks IMHO: (as there are better players in there position)
- Tendai Mtawarira
- Rudy Paige
- Trevor Nyakane
- Bongi Mbonambi
- Sikhumbuzo Notshe
- Scarra Ntubeni

Starting team based on what is available:

15: Wille le Roux
14: Ruan Combrinck
12: Damian de Allende
13: Lionel Mapoe
11: Lwazi Mvovo
10: Patrick Lambie
9: Faf de Klerk
8: Warren Whiteley – Captain
7: Siya Kolisi
6: Jaco Kriel
5: Lood de Jager
4: Pieter-Steph du Toit
3: Julian Redelinghuys
2: Adriaan Strauss
