Official June 2016 Tests Thread

I agree, the captain made *** decisions. If you are 6 points down in a test you kick for poles.

Yeah that said if you have a kicker, was his home field and he still managed to miss. Arg, Aussies and Kiwi's will have a field day with this team.Don't follow up kicks properly, can't even catch them, faf de kok is useless absolutely no depth don't think he once changed direction, he cleared the ball were the back line was didn't go for the short side, or change any thing up.

The forwards is useless the flanks are your extra set of wingers, didn't read the game at all, nor provide cover for faf with kicks. The fact that the flanks were first to up and unders, and not your wingers tells you how massively slow they are.

japan would have walked over this team, without needing to catch their breath.

I would stick to du Toit and Etzebeth, then have Redelinghuys get in training with the two. A prop is only as good as his lock. We can always have du Toit replace Louw, but then Kriel…

I would play Mostert in the loose.

In place of Louw or Vermeluen

I agree we have found a good lock combo.

Why did it take two test for AC to realise that the Lions are second on the log for a reason?

They have good players.

Surely the bulk of the national team has to come from the team that is doing best in your regional competitions.

The whole Lion team would have mauled these Irish. The Springboks are just not there yet. Pity Janties didnt have his kicking boots on, would have been a total different ball game.

So both Duan and Warren has injury concerns for the final test.

Warren is a worry, Duane not so much... Young Jaco would like a run if you don't mind.
Pretty sure when Vermeulen is feeling better, Azog the Defiler has a job for him running into walls, so it all works out in the end.

FAF dictating pace. Much better. Elton growing into it... All 'cos the pack is better.

Faf, behind a useless pack, couldn't have been better. Yes he made mistakes like that stupid base kick, but give the laaitie time, he is by far our best scrummie.

Elton, and faf, looked a lot better when we started going forward. Elton's kicking game is a worry, and hopefully he can improve that part. Someone mentioned last week that Elton can't tackle... I saw one miss, yes a pathetic one (which mvovo should've stopped in the first place), but other than that he was spot on.

A few too many mistakes from the base, but his ball is solid and quick, and he's a quick thinker that this backline clearly needs. I'd say De Allende is a close second, followed by Etzebeth and JP...

De Allende? Seriously. He was pathetic last night. Let's not let one fantastic try take away everything else he was kark at. Seriously, he was schit.

“The impact from the bench was massive. They turned it around for us. This team is not about 15 players, but rather all 23. Adriaan's leadership in that time proved crucial and I am pleased in many ways that we are starting to think on the same wave length.

My cornflakes must have been drugged because :wtf:

Players not deserving on their jersey:
- Kolisi - cannot hold on a ball to save his life
- duane - 0 op 'n kontrak
- flouw - was just flou

please start with warren, kriel and notche. kthxbye

Malherbe - fukk me, wat?
Strauss - please go, bring in the beast of a man marx!

Etzebeth did absolutely nothing. Please start with PSdT and Neus (apparently he was called Sous from school, because of his surname :D )\

Mvovo - gtfo, Combrinck FTW <- Literally

Willie realised that the try line is not on the same sides of the field as the sidelines.
