La población deberá adelantar una hora los relojes ante la llegada del Horario de Verano el próximo domingo 7 de abril en prácticamente todo el país.

Con esta medida se pretende hacer un mejor uso de la luz solar y reducir el consumo de energía eléctrica en el país.

El Horario de Verano, que concluirá el 27 de octubre próximo, con excepción de los municipios localizados en la franja fronteriza norte, modifica la hora de encendido de las luces en horas pico (de 19:00 a 22:00 horas), por lo que se deja de consumir energía eléctrica y se disminuye la quema de combustibles

7 Workers Die Inside Mexico Brewery Tank

Mexico City authorities say seven workers died while cleaning a tank at a Grupo Modelo brewery in Mexico City.

A spokeswoman for city prosecutors says the accident occurred early Sunday and that investigators are looking into whether the workers died from inhaling toxic fumes. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because she is not authorized to discuss the case.

Building manager Francisco Lopez Bravo told local media the workers were trapped inside the cistern while doing maintenance work.

Lopez Bravo said there are no other risks at the brewery and that it continued to operate on Sunday.

Anheuser-Busch InBev has been trying to take over the half it doesn't already own of Grupo Modelo, which makes Corona and other globally popular beers, since June.
