Doesn't help if you play a kicking game and the opposition kick almost double the distance you do...

Crusaders dominated territory, field position, possession...

McCaw and Carter stepped up, though.

'Saders vs 'Tahs should be a cracker!

Can say the same about the Sharks in previous years, they have financially being able to push them through this year. I expect the Blue Bulls back in their top position next year. Stormers will struggle on in third position, politics.

Hell I hope you're right

They are heading in the right direction, making the right decision to build up to next year, their management is getting in order. The Shark may have invested too much this year, could had achieved similar results with less higher appointments, this may prove troubling next year. Province looks the same, tastes the same, putting to much attention to player development and arguing with their clubs...

The Brumbies still have a chance, seeing that they are playing their previously learned style again, at least we know who Jake White is supporting now.

What frustrates me is that we accidentally stumbled on the game plan to beat the Crusaders earlier on in the year. You hold on to the ball and you get your forwards to grind away and gain the hard yards. You commit and you out-muscle. When starved of possession and physically dominated they start making mistakes. Then you capitalize.

I honestly though White would have learned from and remembered that and adapted his game plan. Sadly, it was not to be.

Yip. Mallet's comments were spot on. If you don't actually win with that gameplan, it's seriously flawed. SA teams unfortunately aren't very good at adapting gameplan mid-game.

I missed Mallet's analysis unfortuately.

I personally think that the game plan I mentioned should have been plan A. If they'd pitched up with the right game plan they would never have had to switch.

Next weeks game should be an awesome display of rugby. Both teams are looking good.

Agreed on all points.

Why the fsck did they bother flying over there if they were not interested in playing at all?

Was a shocking game, no excuses.

I'm sticking with what I said on Friday!

Tahs will find it hard if the Crusaders can pull off another play like they did against the Sharks. But then again, the Sharks allowed the Saders to play like that...

Gonna be a cracker either way.

The final will be a great game if the Semis are anything to go by.

The Tahs will not kick as much position away if their season thus far is anything to go by.

I must say that I am extremely impressed with the Tahs ability to create space from their forward drives as well as ball retention not actually translating into meter gained.

As I said last week, the Saders can never be written off, especially not in the knock out phases.

I am looking forward to some high paced, high class rugby in the final.

So what are the guys and gals thoughts for the Final on Saturday ?

I didn't watch much of the Waratahs this season, but as much as it pains me whilst typing this. I think the Crusaders are just 1 of those teams that always steps up and they will take this 1.

I think its going to be a cracker... the Crusaders have only been getting stronger this season, where the Tahs have been a little up and down... but they have some potent backs and have seen some awesome rugby from them this season.

In the end, I don't care who wins, only that it must be a spectacle. If both teams are going to be on form, it's gonna be cracker!

I'm with you on that one, but part of me wants the Tahs to win it ... never won it before, lost in 2 finals to the Crusaders, haven't won the Crusaders in 10 years now, home (not exactly) advantage.

I just can't make up my mind for SuperBru ... I've also got a long shot of taking the work pool (about 50+ ppl in there).
