Official Super Rugby Thread 2012

How can you not know who the Banana Boys are?

Anyone from Natal has been called a banana boy since, I don't know when to be honest...

Im not from Natal....

Great, Stormers vs Chiefs, Newlands final. Stormers to take it. :-)

I actually thought it would be stormers vs crusaders in the finals but relooking at this... Im not sure if the stormers are going to win tomorrows game seeing that most of there top players are injured and the fact that sharks has gained a lot of momentum going into this game. IF they win and I hope they do I think stormers can take on the chiefs and win!

Today is officially game day and with it, the ending of the Sharks dream of winning the Super Rugby competition.

The only downside is I won't be able to read all the nonsense posted here during the match by said supporters as I'll be at the game... :D

I find a lot of comfort in the fact that so many Breezers supporters are so full of it ........ why, because if they lose, you will be gutted. If the Sharks lose, it's because the better team beat them after a lot of hard graft and travelling and it will then be a case of go team SA! Going to be a good game and even better if the Breezers lose ;)

FYI... Im not sure if you know this but there is a mybroadband app for the android phones if you really want to see the "nonsense posted here"

Jokes aside, the Stormers are the only realistic chance of a SA team winning the trophy. It's unrealistic to expect the Sharks to beat the Chiefs in NZ. Simply too much travel.

So I guess supporters from the smaller places, like Durban, should also shout for the Stormers today. :p:D

Yeah I guess I could do that.

What would it say for the quality of this competition if a team that lost to Lions plays in the final?! Unfathomable! :D

I'm pretty sure Cape Town is the 3rd largest city in SA, behind Durban ;)

Plumb those depths even further mate ......... making those big poephols that exist in SA seem less and less like poephols with every post of yours

Details aside, anyone cheering for the Sharks today is effectively cheering for the Chiefs - unpatriotic and traitorous in other words.

What's ironically unpatriotic about that statement is that it centres around your assumption that our local team cannot beat The Chiefs...
