He does bring up a good few points, but mostly the article is reeking with bias. Its already blatantly clear from the very first paragraph and evident throughout the article. It is just 500 words of him praising Apple in all their glory, while completely ignoring the competition and fails to ever compare them.

I think the biggest joke is when he said this.
Wireless charging folly, NFC futurism—those are immature demands for immature technologies.

As if including new advancements in technology is a bad thing. Coming from someone who praises Apple, this is highly ironic. Apple revolutionize the industry by using immature technologies like the touch phones and popularising it. Apple also claims and is often praised for being innovative, but when they don't, you get people like this guy who praises them for maturing their product and not heeding to the "immature demands" for "immature" technologies.

Overall it is a worthless review made by a guy with an agenda and doing an impartial review wasn't it. I'm not saying that Apple isn't the best phone, but it is certainly not as clear cut as this guy makes it out to be.

I find that reviews made by Non-USA companies are far better as they are able to remain objective. I think this site provides one of the better reviews I have seen.

The fact that the iPhone 5 outperforms every other phone on the market in just about every test is all the information I need to make my decision.

I'm a bit miffed at how underpowered my 4S is by comparison, but I'll live.

I've also survived with this "very limited and locked down" ecosystem since my iPhone 3Gs, so I don't need to be liberated with a droid.

Spent some time on a friends HTC one last weekend and recorded a round of golf with Golfshot Pro Golf GPS on a Samsung Galaxy 3 this weekend. I'll stick with Apple, thanks.

Reminds me of what Ryan Block (gdgt) tweeted as he left the iPhone event. . .
"Great. Use the iPhone 5 for ten minutes and now my iPhone 4S feels tiny, fat, and ugly. And that’s how they get me every time."
