they seem to running wild at the moment.

also go to wonder about the guy that got attacked by the dog.
he has the cops and a dog inside his house, cops tell him 6 times, even threatening to release the dog if he does not stand up, but he chooses to ignore the instruction.

his lawyer seems a bit of a dimwit tho:
His prior encounters don’t count. He could have had all kinds of problems. That doesn’t justify the police kicking his door
in two months later. That’s not the way the law works. The force has to be appropriate when it’s used. You don’t count up prior encounters,” he said. “The fact that he had prior police encounters, we believe, is irrelevant to all of that.”

if someone is known to the local police as a result of their prior "encounters", the police are obviously going to take into account their experience with this person when dealing with them.

so here we have someone who for whatever reason set fire to the neighbors trash can, which is hardly worthy of calling the police, but the fact that he was also waving a knife about, had a prior "encounters" with the local police, then ignores the police when they instruct him to stand up - no less than 6 times, makes one wonder if there is not a lot more to this story

That's why the dogs are trained for or do you believe they must be like our own home brand police...doing Fall!
The handler released the dog on a guy sitting on a couch with his hands up (on suspicion of lighting his Xmas tree in his back garden no less) our local dogs have a much tougher time chasing after suspects through bushes and unknown terrain.

Not sure, looking at the slouched angle maybe he wasn't able to with his arms up? Either way the dog should not have been let loose.

i also find it odd they release the dog when they could have tasered him where he was sitting if they felt he was a threat

I love these threads where people go out of their way to defend the police state

So...when the armed police tell you to stand up, do it.

It's better and more efficient than what we offer. So why cry at their system if ours are a total failure??
