I don't even need over 60gb int for my 4 meg line, i don't even hit my current 30gb i have.
But i would love to be able to download lots of local media in hi def.
Who's gonna be the isp to give us cheap 500gb local accounts.
This way I don't have to hog the int pipe by going all the way to my 200gig uncapped afrihost
 
This would be great, the current R14 per local GB is crazy, for something that costs our ISPs nothing
 
Problem is, thanks to Telkom, local bandwidth is more expensive than international.
 
We're trying to move away from this local/international differentiation nonsense. What's stopping you from using your uncapped account locally?

Well the saix new server wont let me connect on anything but saix, as far as i've heard the IS news server is crap.
 
Well if you sign up to afrihost you will get 200GB for R500 (4Mb/s) which is R2.50/GB which you can use for local or international. You will be shaped during the day though.

Astraweb is far better than both the saix and the IS news server.
