Ok so how is it.

Anybody have any experiences with the new and improved Enhancement Shammy class? I need to check how the intellect will effect my melee damage, but if 1 int = 1 AP, then I might just kit myself out in Elemental gear and swing those fist weapons around in my pretty new dress.

Was thinking exactly the same.

It will also make Enchancement shamans more viable for healing. On the old tree I had just enough mana to DPS and maybe help with one heal if these was an O shyt moment.

Now We will be able to DPS much harder and be stacked on Mana which would provide more heals.

I might be wrong though. Will check the new trees tonight.

Seeing my mate play on my pc (bought his external with WoW) a mage specced deep frost... scary stuff  the number of shatter combos hes now getting its insane

Our one healer is loving the new shammy resto skills

Loving it

Absolutely amazing, did Kara last night on my tankadin.

Moroes, pulled whole groups, managed 2100DPS in prot spec.

Ended 2nd on damage meters (had 20.1%, top was a hunter on 20.3%), 3rd guy was on 11%

Ended 2nd on healing meters (Judgement of light FTW)

Solo tanked to Curator in 90 mins. Had 3 healers, they were so bored they were also dpsing.

On nightbane, TPS avg 2300.

Felt like i was boosting DM. It is a pity it felt so good, as Blizz will probably nerf it....

Soloing as Holy is a joy now. With JoW up and 5/5 Benediction, plus IoL, can basically keep going forever.

Gonna do Kara and ZA back to back tonight, see how the healing is. I expect imbaness.

Or we are going to see our arse's come the first raid in northrend

after our Kara run, i would not be suprised that we get some nerfs over the next 2 or 3 months. Either that or the mobs in the Northrend starting zone are like T5 content. Guild is doing ZA tonight. I probaly wont be there. Will see how that goes.

I want have a go at Morogrims murlocks with ma shockwave. lol

PS, hunter complained he didnt get a shot in on the first Moroes add, she died so fast. He had to trap of the other adds.

Our guild did kara last night. Ended up killing prince nakid (with exception of the tank) in 2min16sec...

Logged in my sham, respecced elemental now that all healer gear has been rolled into spellpower gear, sorted my bars and buttons and stuff out and queue'd up some BG's looking forward to testing out thunderstorm and stuff.

Damage is terrible. Survivability is a joke even with my 456 resilience, everyone else's burst DPS seems to have scaled up by leaps and bounds. Ret paladins are running around completely out of control. If my trinket is on cooldown and I get hit with HoJ, I'm dead. It's that simple. It's the most imbalanced cr_p I have EVER seen in my history playing this game. Frankly, it's disgusting and amateuristic how Blizzard let this slide.
Thunderstorm proved to be totally unimpressive. The knockback is pitiful, and looks and sounds faggy compared to the beta vids. 20 yards is a hell of a lot less than it sounds, it bugs out half of the time, and damage is just absolute garbage doing about 500 to 700 damage which seems less to me than one pulse of a mage's AE. And that's with me having over 1k spellpower. What a great 51 pt talent. /sarcasm.
Beyond the shammy frustrations, BG servers were laggy. Tried TH. Server lag. 1 minute to sell a piece of vendor trash lawl. Frustrating. Angry. Wasn't having much fun at all.
At least my lock's new Drain Soul/Life animations look pretty cool.

Logged off after about half an hour of futility. Did not log back in. Spent the night gleefuly knocking noobs into the river in Mourkain Temple with my Ironbreaker. For the first time in months, found myself grinning while playing a game. 'Away With Ye' is awesome.

For me, most craptastic 'content' patch in WoW to date. I'm glad you guys are liking it though. I suppose new haircuts and chasing achievements are something to do for those not willing to 'risk' trying something else. Personally it's going to take a hell of a lot more than 3.0.2 to entice me to return. As tempting as some of the glitter and baubles are that this patch introduced, fact is I'm still looking for new content, and this patch doesn't introduce any.

Ok let me get this right Skurm

You where the one saying that Hybrids is just that. now you want to compare an Elemental shaman to a Mage

No. I'm not saying I want to be a mage. Im saying that a 51 point talent that is, effectively, a single 'tick' of Arcane Explosion (the knockback is absolutely worthless in pvp where everyone has a shadowstep or intercept on a cooldown shorter than TS lol, and worth even less, if that's possible, in pve, and the mana regen is enough for 1 or 2 Lightning Bolts, it's completely tacked on and arbitrary), is ****. Any way you look at it.

There is no other way to 'wrap it nicely'. It's total, absolute, utter ****. The rest of the Elemental tree is equally uninspiring. The spec is dead for pvp and equally dead for pve. Raid damage right now is hovering somewhere in the range of holy priests and prot warriors and I'm not even joking, that's EJ number crunching.

I think Enhance is having a bit of a better time in pvp and pve, but the spec no longer appeals to me.

Healers are simply getting roflstomped in pvp, but I suppose still necessary for pve. Although already holy priests and resto druids are taking away the AoE heal niche and resto shaman are left kinda wondering what their role is. Crappy tank healing? Crappy AoE? Both? Bleh.

Maybe in Wrath things will change around again to some semblance of sanity. Right now it's a fcking joke. Some dps specs have been godbuffed to superhuman status, PVE content has been nerfed to pointlessness, and PVP has boiled down to 'run away from the pally.' 3.0.2 WoW is a total f_ckup. And I've been through some f_ckups in my time (eg being a feral druid during the 2.x Drood Nerf Patch of February 2007). This is not strictly a 'my class sucks qq' post, but look at it holistically. This is a terrible patch, thus far, for everyone but ret pallies and 1 or two other classes, if you like pvp.

o ok, sorry i understand now :)

I feel that every class should have it's edge in WoW. And that get's killed everytime Blizzard tries it. Maybe what they should do is have a set of talents for PvP and a set for PvE. Once you enter PvP some of your abilities will be stronger and some weaker. Get where I'm going with this ?

In PvE everyone likes all classes and the harder they hit the better for the raid. But on the Flip side we complain about those exact things when we have to face that class in PvP.

Just a thought though.

Well...my mage is fire speced, again and yesterday I could walk over a hunter so fast he couldn't do anything xD

Ahhh, sweet sweet revenge :D

Just do yourselves a 'favour' and go do some l70 BG's. Don't take it from me. Experience it for yourself.

Blizz had a Blue Post on MMO-Champ stating that things are going to be unbalanced at the moment since all the balancing is designed for 80 now so as people level in Wrath it will correct itself.

That being said, Ret Pallies are frikking awesome mana batteries in a Raid. On my Hunter I never dropped below 90% mana with a Ret Pally and JoW up.

ROFL dude.

My elemental shaman has 250ish resilience (dungeon blues and few pieces merciless), bout 800 spell dmg and my Thunderstorm (with trinket + elemental mastery) was critting up to 3500.

Average crit is about 2700 with it, which may be a result of the crazy buffs being raid wide now but who knows. Self buffed, all totems out, I was smacking the test dummies for 3k crits.

And about the knockback. Last night I cruised up to LM, saw an Orc warrior idle near the ledge, and proceeded to knock his green @rse off and watched him splat down below. That was massively funny.

I will admit survivability is not great, but it is much better than it used to be (for me at least).

Bear in mind that I have a mage as well, and even though the mage outgears the shaman, the shaman dmg is not that far behind.

I kind of think you have been playing WAR or something and your opinion might not be completely objective.

Pallies got hotfixed. Divine Storm is no longer holy dmg, but physical. More nerfs will come.

And I don't even play a paladin. Mage, Warrior, Shaman and Hunter (who I havent even logged yet due to having so much fun with other classes) are all a blast to play currently.

I recommend just playing some of your other classes if you feel the shaman is too weak. But don't go posting bogus info on the dmg of a spell when you know for a fact that it's bullsh1t.

That is what I hate about WoW and WoW players.

The patch is not even 2 days old. Instead of learning how to work against certain classes and their new abilites... they run on to the forum and /CRY

2 days later Nerfs left right and centre.

Damn bunch of cry babies. I hate that about this game. You have a serious under powered char, it gets some nice buffs. 2 days after the patch and they get nerfed /yawn

Warriors are suppose to be that. Massive guys, big hits, and un stoppable. All the cry babies turned Warriors into nothing more than a Big target with no power.

Warriors, no power?

Next time you see a wall of flesh coming at you with a massive two-hander hitting every thing in sight for 2k each 1 sec for 6 seconds, you might reconsider that statement.

Bladestorm ftw.

No your missing the point.

Warriors are now back where I think they should be. How long do you think it will last ?

Do you remember the Warriors of about 2 years ago ?

Before I even played WoW a friend of mine showed me. He has a warrior, was lvl 60 back then. I could stand in a BG and be a Warrior. When i got WoW I thought, nice I want to be a warrior. Since then my warrior has been toned down so much I don't even play him no more. I rerolled a pure protection spec warrior just for PvE.

The same goes for all classes. Just a matter of time before all this IMBAness everyone has now will be made redundant. Because of all the crying :D
