Ok so how is it.

I kind of think you have been playing WAR or something and your opinion might not be completely objective.

Yeah, that sentence makes no sense whatsoever, lol. The guy playing other mmo's isnt being objective, as opposed to the guy playing just 1 and having no point of reference or comparison? "You have to be a WoW zealot to be objective"? Hehe. Ok.

I still have some time on my account so I'll go take some screenshots of my combat log in a BG. Perhaps I was thumbsucking the exact number, but the ability felt insipidly weak and bugged. One more than one occasion it hit it in the middle of a pack of alliance and it would have no effect, or maybe knock 1 or 2 guys back rather than the whole zerg.

Beyond that LB coeff was nerfed, elemental lost 9% hit and you can feel it, clear as day. I'll go dig up the EJ charts.

Same thing happened to Ret Pallies in TBC, they were OP and got nerfed through the ground a few weeks later after the expansion release. So for the love of god please stop crying, they'll be easy to manage in every facet of the game soon enough.

Blizzard must make it very simple.

Stop ammending changes they made. If a release is made leave it as is, people will learn to live with it and find otherways of killing said Class.

The more they listen the more people complain. They must just leave it and never make any changes. I mean the testers could play fine with these chars, so stop complaining and L2P :p

o ok, sorry i understand now :)

I feel that every class should have it's edge in WoW. And that get's killed everytime Blizzard tries it. Maybe what they should do is have a set of talents for PvP and a set for PvE. Once you enter PvP some of your abilities will be stronger and some weaker. Get where I'm going with this ?

In PvE everyone likes all classes and the harder they hit the better for the raid. But on the Flip side we complain about those exact things when we have to face that class in PvP.

Just a thought though.
WOW was firstly made for PVE not pvp on launch there was not even a mention of bg then they saw people like pvp had to rework and try to ballance it till today they have not done it cause the game was made for pve.

They screwed up Druid class even more and my Holy Pala friend is pissed cause the new talents suck.
Canceled my preorder on WOTLK too.
Canceled my WOW subscribtion blizzard ask to select a reason from there list Warhammer :)

You go off on a rant about how much Shaman suck, and how the new patch is bolloks etc. using inaccurate information and loose facts.

Then you talk about WAR and how much fun you are having in it. So, to me, this looks like someone who is sour and not completely objective as my experience with the new patch is nothing like you describe.

Afaik, the LB coeff nerf has not been implemented due to the lack of Lava Burst being available pre-xpac.

But anyway, if you don't like WoW anymore due to burnout, preference or whatever thats fine. I only have an issue with you coming on this forum posting bogus information and blasting a game that others enjoy for no apparent reason other than to vent your own frustrations.

On that subject. I alway thought that there was a problem with my Lock's AoE. Chowing massive amounts of mana. Apparently there was and it took the casting cost off with every burst. Now I can spam AoE and it will feel like nothing on my Mana :D

Skurm souds like a guy who played wow longer than 6 months :)
Think if i picked up wow 3 months back like some people here it would still be fun if WAR was out of the picture.

But i logged on just before the talents with my druid and it sucked in bg cause i got used to WAR the pvp there is just 800% better.

Ye, I'm not part of the 3 month club. Actually, I started playing in Jan 2006.

Haven't tried WAR, but I am still having a lot of fun in WoW. I can't really say which is better, I only know that the patch so far for me has been heaps of fun and that the future looks good for WoW.

If you are tired of WoW go play WAR. I have been played WoW for ages. I go through times when I've had enough. I just slow down. Then when I feel like it, I get more into it again. And so it goes. Im sure at some point I will stop altogether. Whether that is this year, next year, or whenever, who knows ?? Who cares ?? I dont. lol

By flaming an MMO in its thread, you are just trying hard to get other people to agree with you. If you just had a louzy time with an acrimonous guild bust-up, then its not the game, but your guild. Its something you need to deal with. If it means you go play WAR, then great. Enjoy yourself.

I also went through a stage when I was in a guild and it went poop. The guild had become my home and the game had pretty much taken over my life. It wasnt fun. I stopped for about a month. Then rerolled on another realm. Made new friends. Kept my distance from my fellow South Africans. Now Im having fun. With a few South Africans. The patch is briliant. We are all having a blast. Looking forward to the new expansion.

Yeah well i was in a GREAT SA guild in WOW problem with War is no great SA guilds yet.Gone mis my guildies on TH :(

But i cant go back to the cartoony ghost game were 1000000 people can stand ontop of each other and if a rogue wants to backstab he walks thru you not around.

I can spot a ex wow rogue even in WAR the once that keep trying to run thru you and play witch hunters or witch elfs.

WoW on a 22" LCD with 8xAA and 8xAF with full detail and shadows =/= cartoony.

The game looks amazing now. Really. Collision detection, meh, I think it would introduce more problems than it would solve.

If you want to play WoW, play WoW. If you want to play War play War. Its not rocket science. But you dont have to sit and troll and flame. It achieves **** all. Critize constructively.

Im still enjoying WoW at the moment. If i get bored ill stop. Pretty much like zippy attitude actually. And yes, i have gotten bored with WoW. I then go back to dota. Or go outside and play some reality. :P

Hand's up if you have been flying around just to watch your shadow dance over the landscape.I have even been so far as to make sure it is projecting correctly onto surfaces, just wish we had a non static global light source now, and the ability to have multiple casters, but that is probably for the next expansion :P

Also doing one of the SSO daylies yesterday, I almost soiled my armour as this big ass Dragon's shadow got cast over me.

Basic CD via proxies should not create that much of a hassle tbh, but where it will be annoying is when you are trying to get to a mailbox and some twit has his huge ass kodo parked in the way again. Without the collision detection in cities etc it makes the game more playable, and tbh, I cannot think of a clean way to toggle bounding entities on and off. They could switch to mesh level detection, but that would push system requirements up as CPU cycles are increased. Am sure that Blizz made this decision with playability in mind.

Hrmm typing that has just reminded me how much I enjoyed 3d gfx, I must get back into it

Collision detection and MMO's don't really go well together, particularly when you have people with higher latencies playing
