I've had internet since March (we moved).
Everything was ok until I got capped (do understand that I hadn't any internet for months so there was lots to download).
Well, new month, I can't browse. I leave it for 2 weeks because I was too lazy. Finally I phone my ISP who says uninstall Norton so then it started working-but no! My Internet has dial-up speed (or doesn't load at all):(

I had this for last week now.

I phone my ISP who says it's Telkom's line fault.
I phone Telkom who say's it's my modem's fault.
I phone Telkom again now they say it's my ISP's fault.

what do you think is the problem?

Your car needs new tyres... How do you expect anyone to figure out a possible problem based on that description?

yeah sorry, i really wouldnt know what else to add other than my line or modem(depending on the sides) gets disconnected then reconnected again all the time

You may be too far from the exchange and you are loosing sync. Best is to call Telkom early tomorrow morning and ask them to verify your line and possibly lowwer your sync/speed.

but then how comes it worked perfectly the 1st month?

1st month i could download at 420KB/s now I download at 300KB/s but dies, then comes back, then dies again.

When you say dies do you mean your router actually disconnects or your download manager reports a speed drop? Far is 4.5km or so.
