Olarm max paradox mg5050 wiring help

Hi all. I attempted to install this and followed the instructions for cutting the serial cable on the side that had 5 pins. The side that plugs into the board though appears to be upside down. On my board the topmost pin is the red power one. I know this because I already had the serial to usb connector cable there and it s the red wire at the top. If I plug this one in all the wires will be upside down. Did they give me the wrong cable?

What Paradox is it i wanna check the board spec. Also is that the cable that came with the Olarm?
