I'm asking for a friend.

Does anyone have a clue where I can find an old 486 motherboard?
Or maybe have one lying around at home?

CNC machine blew a motherboard and they need a replacement.
It must have one of those old keyboard connections for the CNC keyboard.

Thanks.

Damn I had an old P3 which accepted the old keyboard connector but I threw it away!

Good news, I found it! You can have it, an old Pentium 2/3 PC, with 5-pin AT Keyboard connector. :D

Yeah I stay in PTA

Awesome.

I've sent you a PM.

Thanks again for going through the trouble of looking for it.

Would just like to thank Synaesthesia for his great help.

But I could not help but laugh out loud when I saw the 4GB HDD and 2 x 128Mb RAM modules.

And to think most of us had similar PCs a while back.
When we first heard of 1GB RAM, I thought it was a hoax.
I remember when we put our first 800Mb HDD in our 386 and thought we will never ever fill all that space.
