Just want some advice regrarding old age pension.

Scenario:

Husband and wife
61 years old & 55 years old
combined income under - R75000 per annum
Combined assets under - R1mil

They both work part time but gets less than R75000 per annum salary combined.

If the 61 year old applies for old age pension will he get the full R1700 a month??

He paid his taxes all his life so I figure he can use that money for spoiling himself every month.

Any advice will be appreciated.
