I have an Opel Manta A that is almost finished being fixed up. However the critical question remains on what type of mags/rims would look good on it. Does anyone know where to find old school rims?

It took me a couple of reads before I realised that you weren't talking about Old School Magazines!! :D

I should imagine that mag wheel designs from the 80's would be very difficult to come by.

I like those old Opel Manta's, what kind of engine & transmission did you fit it with? Or did you just stick with the original?

No advice on the rims, sorry, but I think some newer mags could look good on it, depending on colour of the car and provided the mag isn't too flamboyant.

please dont get a set new type mags
it spoils the look of most older/retro cars 90% of the time
id get some plain steelies in the meantime till you can find something that will work
ps - i really like the manta

whats the pcd and offset?
and the size of the original wheels?

I kept it standard, just changed from automatic to manual transmission. It is metallic silver.
The wheels should be 4x100 with an offset of 31. I think the original ones are 13".
I'm also not keen on the modern ones. But a all black rim might be nice.

pics?

whats your location?
pm your email addy, i might be able to point you in the right direction
